1. Do some research on a mystery that you personally think is interesting or something from your own culture. We are going to share these tomorrow morning. It is okay to have some notes. Try to be able to speak for at least 2 minutes about the subject.
2. Please do the textbook (not the workbook) p 99 and p 100, part 1 and 2 (you don’t have to do “expressing past ability or missed opportunity” yet). We will go over this in class tomorrow.
3. ***Bonus HW: If you want to record and upload your speech about a scientific mystery you think is interesting, then we will check it for you and give feedback. We will also give you 2 points of extra-credit on your homework grade!

i. Check answers on website. Come with any questions.
2. Come tomorrow and present about a missed opportunity or regret. Be sure to include how you think your life could have been different today if you had not missed the opportunity.
i. Optional bonus points: audio recording about regret posted to your dropbox/google voice
ii. Review your test. Ask us if you have questions.
3. Structure log part two. Start thinking about it now. We will ask you to post by Saturday.

2. Textbook practice 7 (p.106, writing)
i. For this practice you will write a letter in formal language. Remember to refer to the rubrics and make sure you have all the parts of a formal letter.
ii. Also, be sure to use the grammar structure might/ may/ could have +pp to provide possible explanations of the phenomenon.
iii. We will do a peer review over the weekend so please submit it to us tonight!
