For example, you could talk about
- I live with my family. I have a husband and two kids.
- My apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom.
- There are many chores to be done in the house. Somebody has to do the laundry, make dinner, clean the apartment.
- My roommate is horrible, he always leaves his dirty sox on the tv!
Please upload this by 9pm
3. Try to figure out dropbox and try to upload the recording. Also, check out our website.
-----------------5.28-----------------
- Do the speaking practice audio file about your home again, but this time add grammar points (active/passive) from today into the speech. Think about what needs to be done in your come and talk about who does it. If there is a job to be done (or you would like to add something to your home) talk about who would do it.
Example:
o The faucet in my sink always drips! I need to have a plumber fix it because I do not know how.
o My cooking is awful! I will get my roommate to make some better food.
o My room is so dirty! I will make my husband clean it.
- Please make the audio around 90 seconds.
- Also, please do WB Unit 9 practice 5 and 6.
